Getting closer: A second 'Always Sunny' bar

Looks like Chestnut Street in Rittenhouse.

Getting closer: A second 'Always Sunny' bar

Progress is being made in the search for a second location of Mac's Tavern, the bar whose ownership includes It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia creator/star Rob McElhenney) and his real-life wife, Kaitlin Olson (Dee on the show).

The first location of the bar, owned and run by fellow St. Joe's Prep alumni, opened in 2010 at 226 Market St.

Now, I'm hearing that a deal is so close for a location on Chestnut Street near Rittenhouse Square.

Stay tuned.
