Binni & Flynn's coming back

The casual Tex-Mex will be revived by founders' daughter.

Binni & Flynn's, once a popular cantina chain in the region dating from the early 1970s (most notably in Gateway Shopping Center on Route 202), is being revived after 12 years.

Meridith Coyle, whose parents, Richard and Irene, founded Binni & Flynn's, already has the location. It's her Berwyn restaurant, Aneu. Target for opening is the week of Feb. 25.

Coyle told me that she will move Aneu's breakfast and lunch business to her market at the side of the building at 575 Lancaster Ave. Her catering company will be run out of the market.

She said she has found the family of the original chef and intends it to be as it was in the old days.
