Brothers Adam and Andrew Erace, owners of the Green Aisle Grocery, typically decamp to Ventnor every weekend this time of year, and "a big part of the Shore is getting fudge," said Adam. After some experimentation by amateur confectioner Derrick Clevenger, the store now offers a scratch-made version. Mast Brothers baking chocolate and organic milk from Chambersburg's Trickling Springs Creamery form the rich, buttery base, with local additions like blackberries from Red Head Farm in Hammonton, N.J.
