Boy, they don’t make them like this…ever!

Did you catch ABC’s 90-minute special on Thanksgiving night, Lady Gaga & the Muppets’ Holiday Spectacular?

Very weird, very wonderful, as you might expect.

Lots of sketches, lots of bizarre banter and some truly other-worldly music.

It’s one thing to have Gaga sings Christmas carols like “Deck the Halls” and “Jingle Bells”. It’s quite another to have her accompanied by the Swedish Chef, Animal and Beaker. Are you in the holiday spirit yet?

But perhaps the best musical moment was this extended piano jam, with Gaga and Elton John pounding it out on “Benny and the Jets” and “ARTPOP”, the title song from her new album.

Check out Lady G’s footwear. Bet that turned Miss Piggy green with envy. Hey, maybe that’s the way to Kermit’s heart.
