Tracy Morgan's future bleak?

The brain injury that comic Tracy Morgan, 45, suffered as a result of a June 7 crash with a Walmart tractor-trailer may leave him unable to work.

Morgan is in a wheelchair and may not be able to walk for several months, his doctors have said.

His lawyer, Benedict Morelli, tells the New York Post that Morgan has been working hard to rehab his body and mind - and has a good deal of work to do on his cognitive and linguistic faculties.

Will he ever perform again?

"The jury's still out. The doctors don't know the answer. I don't know the answer," Morelli told the tabloid.

Morgan suffered his injuries when the Walmart truck struck his limousine from behind.

The retail company on Monday said that Morgan and the three friends with him in the limo were partly to blame because they were not wearing seat belts. One of Morgan's friends, James McNair, died in the accident.

Morelli has struck out against the corporation.

"These people are despicable," he tells the Post.

"They knew that they changed these people's lives forever and killed somebody. They're good blame-shifters. I guess that's how they make $783 billion a year, shifting the blame."

Another mini-Sacha

British comic genius Sacha Baron Cohen, 42, and Isla Fisher, 38, the wife who's too good for him, are expecting their third child, People reports.

The couple met in '02, became engaged in '04, and married six years later. They have two daughters, Elula, 4, and Olive, 7.

Another generation for Lucas

George Lucas' brainchild, Star Wars, is about to have yet another generation in its tight sci-fi grip. Disney Publishing this week released The Adventures of Luke Skywalker, Jedi Knight, the first in a series of children's picture books that tell the film series' story. Just think: Star Wars has owned the human mind for nearly four decades!

Jordin Sparks on love

Singer-actor Jordin Sparks, 24, on Wednesday told Wendy Williams she's recovering nicely from her breakup with bf of two years Jason Derulo.

"I'm good, really. No, really, I'm good," Sparks said. "I know you think that I'm not good but, really, I'm good."

The Phoenix, Ariz., native, who is promoting her role in the eschatological disaster pic Left Behind, said the media made too much of Derulo's marriage proposal - delivered via his "Marry Me" music video. But Sparks admits that she and Derulo left themselves open to the scrutiny. "Hey, listen, we set ourselves up for that," she said.

Asked whether her ex-bf cheated on her, she got serious.

"I actually don't want to comment on that," she said.

Bennett & Lady Gaga rule

Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga? It seemed so silly, that pairing. Yet it's worked: The duo, who have a 60-year age gap, took the top spot on the Billboard album chart this week with their LP Cheek to Cheek, which sold 131,000 units in its first week out.
