ERIN O'HEARN fans, get excited. The former 6ABC personality is back in rotation for the time being.

"Erin O'Hearn is committed to being a mom first, but truly enjoys spending time with her Action News family as well," a 6ABC spokesman told me. "She will be contributing to 6ABC on a part-time basis in the weeks to come."

O'Hearn officially returned Monday night to Action News at 5 p.m.

O'Hearn took a leave from the station to focus on her family in 2010 and was back to fill in for Nydia Han when she went on maternity leave last year. Considering Han, Jamie Apody and Alicia Vitarelli are all expecting, the situation seems similar.

Kacie's boy

Sorry, Kacie McDonnell fans, it looks like the Fox 29 traffic star is off the market. McDonnell is dating University of Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray, according to his Instagram feed. Philly.com's Matt Mullin and I tried to reach out to McDonnell, who has previously been linked to Vikings quarterback Christian Ponder and Phillies pitcher Jonathan Pettibone, but no dice.

Guarino's comeback?

When Philadelphia magazine's The Philly Post held a poll for most-trusted weatherperson, former Fox 29 weatherman Rob Guarino was the surprise write-in winner.

But the more interesting part was that Guarino was let go from his last job at Arizona's KVOA on suspicion of driving under the influence back in May.

Guarino's agent, Gregg Willinger, had no comment.

Guarino told me he's back in the area, though, working on his liveweatherblogs.com and living in Delaware.

"I am again closer to my kids and very happy to be close to them during the challenging teenage years. . . . My priority continues to be my children and second would be my passion for weather and forecasting for the Delaware Valley as the support in PA, NJ, DE, MD has been tremendous," Guarino told me via email. "I am also working with a TV show in the local area that will be announced soon. I will be a feature reporter covering weather topics, science and environmental stories."

Want to cook for Tony Luke?

Cheesesteak impresario Tony Luke Jr.'s new Spike TV cooking competition, "Frankenfood," is coming to Philly for casting. Think you have what it takes to impress Luke?

Per Spike TV, they're looking for "food lovers with revolutionary creations that mix outrageous and unexpected ingredients to create delicious and unique flavors."

The show will feature NYC chef Josh Capon and travel across the country pitting amateur chefs against each other to test out their unique culinary flair. The winner will receive $10,000, and their dish will be featured on the menu of a local restaurant. Luke, along with a rotating panel of culinary masters, will sit on the judging panel.

To throw your name in, fill out Spike's questionnaire at ph.ly/frankenfood, and head to the Windsor Suites (1700 Benjamin Franklin Parkway) on Nov. 24 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with the questionnaire, a current photo and at least one serving of your "revolutionary" dish.

'Franny' actors eat out

With a movie in town, the stars go out to eat. Richard Gere, who plays an eccentric Richie Rich who insinuates himself into the lives of a young couple, dined on Japanese eats at Morimoto (723 Chestnut St.) on Monday. Theo James, who is about to make major waves as the swoon-worthy star of the upcoming "Divergent," chose Alma de Cuba (1623 Walnut St.) for his supping needs. "Franny" also features Dakota Fanning as James' paramour.

So stuffed

Beth Beverly, Philly's premier fashion taxidermist (you read that right) who you may remember from AMC's reality show "Immortalized," will judge the Philadelphia Alt Taxidermy competition on Friday at Junogi Art & Performance House (1227 N. 4th St.) along with artist Adam Wallacavage and fashion designer Autumn Kietponglert (who is on Bravo's "Styled to Rock"). For more info, check out bpt.me/event/499986. According to Beverly, who promises an animal-themed digital photo booth at the event, "Attendants encouraged to dress on the feathered, finned or furry side."
