The Secret Life of the American Teenager (8-9 p.m., FAM) - The family drama
7th Heaven drew some flak for descending into teen-soap territory in its later seasons. But this new series from
Heaven creator Brenda Hampton is unashamedly a teen soap; check the title. It's got less steam and more substance than the typical high-school drama, though. It's also got ex-teen queen Molly Ringwald as mom to young Amy (Shailene Woodley), whose unexpected pregnancy is the hook on which many of the story lines hang. Repeats at 9 p.m.
