'Made in America' schedule announced

It's time to make your weekend plans: The set times for the sixth annual Budweiser Made in America festival, which happens Saturday and Sunday on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia, have been announced.

The big surprise is that festival cocreator and headliner Jay Z will top the bill on Sunday, rather than Saturday, which is when Made in America's biggest hip-hop and R&B acts have appeared on the schedule in the past.

The Saturday night headliner is North Carolina rapper and producer J. Cole, who's on at 9:40 p.m. Jay Z's sister-in-law Solange also plays on MIA's opening night, as do EDM bigwig Kaskade, rap trio Migos, British piano man Sampha, breakout emcee Cardi B, and 215 acts Marian Hill (their song "Down" was famously featured in an Apple commercial), (Sandy) Alex G, Mannequin Pussy, and Queen of Jeans, among other rock acts at the fest.

Jay, who is the star of his own party for the second time after headlining the inaugural 2012 fest, is slated to perform on the Rocky stage in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art at 9:30 p.m. on Sunday. Pop electronic duo the Chainsmokers — who recently performed at a Philadelphia wedding — and masked EDM DJ-producer Marshmello are also on the Sunday evening bill. Rap duo Run the Jewels, Swedish electronic band Little Dragon, and Philly acts PNB Rock, Beach Slang, and Japanese Breakfast play earlier in the day.
