Thom Yorke and his talented friends Flea, Nigel Godrich, Joey Waronker and Mauro Refosco, who go under the name Atoms For Peace, kicked off their North American tour on Tuesday night at the Liacouras Center on Temple University's campus in Philadelphia.

They group first came together in 2010 to perform Thom Yorke's solo album, The Eraser, at a handful of shows. It was an instant connection so they came back together to record 2013's Amok.

Tuesday night's performance touched on songs from Amok but was heavily focused on The Eraser and even included a few Radiohead B-sides. The fact that they steered away from newer songs, in favor of their older material, definitely pleased the crowd – especially the two-song second encore where they performed "Atoms For Peace" and "Black Swan". It was the perfect way to cap off the night.
