Macklemore is working on something that he one day hopes will become a book.

The Seattle rapper spoke with FuseTV this weekend at Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival where he revealed that he’s currently working on something that may one day transform into a book.

It’s nothing tangible–yet–but Macklemore says he’s got chapters and that writing plays a big part in his artistic creativity and overall well-being.

“Writing is just therapeutic to me. It’s something that [makes me] become a better person. I’m funnier, I’m wittier, I’m [becoming] a better rapper the more that I’m writing,” he told Fuse.

Macklemore recently performed at the Roots Picnic. You can catch him again during Labor Day Weekend at Budweiser’s Made in America Festival. Tickets are still available.
