Lady Gaga to become the first artist to perform in outer space

The ARTPOP singer is headed to space! Us Weekly reports that Lady Gaga is slated to become the first artist to sing in outer space.

In early 2015, Gaga will be soar into the sky on a Virgin Galactic ship. When she arrives into the universe, she’ll perform one single track that will air at the Zero G Colony high-tech musical festival in New Mexico.

In preparation for the flight, Gaga will have to go through a month of vocal training so she can adjust properly to the atmosphere.

Lady Gaga’s latest album, ARTPOP, was released on Tuesday.
