Nicki Minaj hits Camden with Meek Mill

Hip hop queen does it all on her “The Pinkprint” tour. But is she still digging North Philly rapper and tour opener Meek Mill? Find out Thursday.

ARE THEY? Aren't they?

When Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill hit the Camden stage on Thursday night (he as an opener, she as headliner), thousands of fans will be looking for clues about the couple's relationship status.

Hip-hop's current queen and her Philly-son suitor have been the subject of breakup rumors following Mill's ill-advised Tweet-diss and ensuing failed diss track about Drake, who belongs to Minaj's label.

A week ago, blogs reported that they'd split. But Friday in Detroit, Mill showed love onstage for his Nicki.

Minaj, well aware of both her personal and financial interests, hasn't taken much of a side in the matter.

So they're together. Or not. It's celebrity romance: Go figure.

Thing is, serious Philly fans are straightforward psyched about the artists' actual performances. Imagine that. The New York Times called "The Pinkprint" tour "the best hip-hop tour lineup of the year."

Credit goes to Minaj, an omnipresent force of fierce lyricism, winking pop wiles, female power and style spectacle. Just try to tune into any current station, Top 40 to hip-hop, without hearing her Queens accent giving tracks by Beyonce, Madonna, Bieber and more much-needed doses of overall attitude.

If you're lucky enough to have scored a ticket - there are few left - you'll take in her latest oeuvres: The introspective and revealing "All Things Go," flat-out fierce-ferocious "Want Some More," requisite booty-centric "Anaconda," in addition to gentler, older hits "Super Bass" and "Starships."

Arrive on time, and you'll also get a chance to ogle her worthy rap acolytes: accessible Tinashe, raw Dej Loaf, young duo Rae Sremmurd.

Oh, yeah, and Mill. He'll be there shouting rhymes just before Minaj takes the stage (she performed for two-hours-plus in NYC), and, most likely, again at the finish, alongside the woman of the hour, for better or worse.

For this night, for better.
