In the last few months, we’ve seen Tina Fey pop up everywhere from Anchorman 2 to the upcoming Muppets Most Wanted. Thanks to her next project, though, we’ll see her in…Kabul?

Dubbed ‘The Taliban Shuffle,” Fey’s next project comes to us courtesy of Paramount studios. Based on journalist Kim Barker’s memoir, The Taliban Shuffle: Strange Days in Afghanistan and Pakistan, Fey’s latest project will tell the story of Barker’s experience overseas in 2002. Speaking only English, Barker had to quickly learn the “Taliban Shuffle” between Afghanistan and Pakistan to carry on with her assignment.

30 Rock’s Robert Carlock helmed the script adaptation, and Fey will produce alongside SNL mastermind Lorne Michaels. Carlock, coincidentally, was also a staff writer on SNL alongside Fey for years, so this one essentially will be a reunion for the trio.

No word yet on a release, but check out Fey in her upcoming Shawn Levy project, This Is Where I Leave You, in September.
