We’re used to seeing David Beckham alongside his four kids and wife Victoria Beckham and more recently in that H&M underwear commercial that aired during Super Bowl XLVIII.

Get ready to see a whole new side to the former soccer star in a documentary called David Beckham into the Unknown. This 90-minute BBC One film follows Beckham along with two friends into the jungle in South America.

Beckham and friends Dave Garden and Derek White travel via boat and motorbikes through the rainforest and eventually meet up with a tribe known as the Yanomami.

Viewers will see how Beckham, Garder and White handle the jungle as they fish, camp and cook their way through the Amazon and embrace the completely different lifestyle.

David Beckham Into the Unknown is set to air in June, just before the start of the Word Cup.

E! Online has more on the film here.
