The 84th running of the Radnor Hunt Races was in Chester County Saturday, May 17. The event featured 6 exciting races with $200,000 in total prizes. The real action happened off the course, along the “rail,” where race-goers held their elaborate tailgating parties dressed in their finest springtime attire. This year's theme was “Garden Parties - Castles to Cottages.” The décor varied from a "Camelot" party, a butterfly garden party and a mermaids theme. Sponsor tents were catered by some of Philly’s best caterers like Brulee and the Palm Restaurant. All proceeds from the Radnor Hunt Races benefited the land and water preservation programs of the Brandywine Conservancy in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania.
