Project HOME celebrated its 25th anniversary with a gala at the Marriott Downtown Philadelphia on Tuesday, April 22, 2014. Musician Jon Bon Jovi, President of the Soul Foundation, attended the event. Earlier in the day, Bon Jovi, Sister Mary Scullion and Joan Dawson McConnon, co-founders of Project HOME, cut the ribbon on the new JBJ Soul Homes, a 55-unit housing project in the Francisville section of Philadelphia. Leigh and John Middleton were the 2014 Golden Heart honorees at the event. The Middleton Foundation has donated $30 million to the organization and built 108 apartments in the past eight years.
