Philadelphia Union Foundation's Cocktails & Cleats Celebration
Posted on Thu, Mar 13, 2014
The Philadelphia Union Foundation held its 2nd Annual Cocktails & Cleats Celebration at Vie on Wednesday, March 13, 2014. The evening began with a cocktail reception and a delicious spread of seafood and pasta. The team posed for photos with fans on the red carpet before dinner. The master of ceremonies was Amy Fadool, Emmy award-winning sports anchor for Comcast SportsNet. The event honored Bob Kozlowski and Walter Bahr. Kozlowski has a long history of service in the soccer community as an employee of the Philadelphia Department of Recreation and he also volunteers as a coach to youth teams in his free time. Bahr is a legend in the soccer world and among the most successful coaches in the history of Penn State. The foundation’s mission is to empower children and encourage education, fitness and healthy eating. They offer after-school activities, safe fields to play soccer at, and nutritional information to promote healthy lifestyles for young people.
