Philadelphia Theatre Company's Anniversary Gala

Applause goes out to co-chairs Elliot Schwartz and Jerry Maginnis and the 300 supporters who were in attendance to show support at the Philadelphia Theatre Company’s 40th anniversary gala on May 8 at the Hyatt at the Bellevue in Philadelphia. Stars in the house included Emmy Award winner Suzanne Roberts and herhusband Ralph; former Gov. Ed Rendell, who introduced honoree David Cohen, and favorite Philadelphia Theatre actors Whitney Bashor, Derrick Cobey, Clare O’Malley, and Matthew Scott At the end of the evening when the curtain came down, more than $300,000 had been collected to be used for the theater’s education and outreach programs to train future actors.
