Women's brand BB Dakota is known for its perfect "bon-fire" shawl cardigans and sunrise-inspired coats all available in Philly stores such as Bloom Boutique , Urban Outfitters and South Moon Under.  Pendleton's signature wools are practically an heirloom and local Old City retailer, SugarCube, carries a warm collection of wallets, blankets and handbags.  Tokyo Milk is one of my favorite perfume lines, with amazing scents like Gin and Rosewater no. 12 and Dead Sexy no. 6.  These scents are an exoctic, yet subtle mix of citrus, rosewood, mimosa and mandarin or vanilla, wood, orchid and ebony.  Most of the cosmetics and perfumes are sold at Bloom Boutique and Aoki Boutique on 111 S. 22nd Street.

My home and decor guru-friend introduced me to Open House at 107 South 13th Street.  I am completely obsessed with Thomas Paul at the moment and you can buy the brand locally at this shop, located between Samsun and Chestnut Street.  Open House sells a nice mix of home accessories, baby clothes by Urban Smalls, furniture, lighting and bed & bath gifts. You can get hard to find designers such as Angela Adams rugs and whimsical bedding by Dwell Studio (another must-get).  Cruiser bikes are perfect for getting around the city, the burbs' or down the Jersey shore and Schwinn makes some stylish peddles. Jay's Pedal Power Bikes  on 512 East Girard Ave. in Fishtown carries tons of cruiser styles starting at $200, also check out the company website for closer retailers.

For a stocking stuffer, try a gift certificate to a cozy restaurant with good ole' craft beer and american food.  My two favorite Old City craft beer spots are Philadelphia Bar and Restaurant and the Race Street Cafe.  PBR has rotating American crafts, nitros and casks with delicious fish tacos and handcut fries with smoky gouda fonduta....soooo good!  The cozy fireplace in Race Street Cafe goes perfect with their Czech lager and pan-seared Swordfish stuffed with shrimp mousse......yummmmy!
