Luxurious lotion. American artist Jeff Koons, famous for (among other things) constructing a ginormous topiary puppy at Rockefeller Center, designed the bottle for this limited edition of super-hydrating Kiehl's moisturizer. The ultra-luxe body treatment is formulated with beta-carotene, squalane, and nurturing oils; more important, it sinks in fast and leaves skin feeling soft and supple. Want to feel even better about this choice? Up to $200,000 in proceeds from the special edition will benefit the Koons Family Institute on International Law and Policy, an initiative of the International Centre for Missing and Exploited Children. (Kiehl's Limited Edition Creme de Corps Body Moisturizer: 8.4 oz., $29; limited edition bottle designed by Jeff Koons: $50. Available at Kiehl's in Rittenhouse Square or kiehls.com.)

A cozy sweater. Nothing says "winter holidays" better than a cozy sweater. Think soft and unstructured this year. Particularly fetching: this ribbed cowl-neck sweater from Feel the Piece. Part wool, part cashmere, it has thumbholes at the cuffs to keep fingers warm and raise the cozy factor. (Gray Feel the Piece cashmere sweater, $293 at Denim Habit in Suburban Square in Ardmore or the Promenade at Sagemore in Marlton.)

Handmade throw. T-shirt quilts are popular, but not very chic. This quilt, on the other hand, is made of bits from clothes by Anthropologie and A.P.C. - way more haute. The cheerful red-and-white quilt is one of six patterns by A.P.C. designers Jean Touitou & Jessica Ogden for Anthropologie. Each quilt is made of modern and vintage shirt fabrics - a great recycling strategy. ($548 at anthropologie.com or 800-309-2500.)

Fancy feet. Snazzy legwear is tremendously popular this year, but there's a snag when it comes to gift-giving. Patterned tights and stockings simply don't work as gifts. Socks and leg warmers, on the other hand, can be both cozy and chic. A simple secret that can help you feel luxurious all day long: cashmere socks. They're warm, too, and the perfect size for a stocking stuffer or seventh-night-of-Hanukkah gift. This season's socks are tall or short; knee socks are back in, as are thigh-highs worn under tall boots. Try cashmere socks in stripes, argyles, and wild patterns for whimsy, or classic black and gray for everyday office wear. (MeMoi Lux cashmere blend argyle socks at DSW.com, $12.95; White + Warren 100 percent cashmere socks, $55 at whiteandwarren.com.)
