The tricky business of casting 'Outlander's' other power couple

It wasn't easy finding the right actors to play Brianna Randall and Roger Wakefield, says "Outlander" producer Ronald D. Moore.

It wasn't easy finding the right actors to play Brianna Randall and Roger Wakefield. She's the red-haired daughter of Claire and Jamie Fraser; he's, well, let's just say he's Brianna's love interest.

Both characters have key roles in the "Outlander" book series, and should likewise factor strongly in future seasons of the TV show, which airs Saturday at 9 p.m. There's a new episode this week, but you'll have to wait till the July 9, 90-minute finale to judge for yourself how Sophie Skelton and Richard Rankin do in their new roles.

Here, Ronald D. Moore, executive producer of Starz' "Outlander," and Skelton talk about casting and filming Bree and Roger, plus exclusive pix (thanks, Entertainment Weekly!) from the set.
