If H. Chase Lenfest's name sounds familiar, it's because the 53-year-old is the son of none other than philanthropist H.F. "Gerry" Lenfest, formerly the sole owner of the Inquirer, Daily News, and Philly.com who has donated the news entities to the Lenfest Institute, a newly created tax-exempt organization. Chase follows in his father's footsteps with his own entrepreneurial pursuits. A father of two teenagers, he stays fit playing squash, soccer, and basketball. When we asked him to tell us about himself, he said, "I grew up with very little and now I have so much. I do not think it is fair. I devote a large part of my life to helping those less fortunate." One of the ways he does that is through the H. Case Lenfest Foundation.
