Shania Twain to bring 'Now' tour to Philly next summer

County star Shania Twain is coming to Philly, but fans will have to wait about a year to see her live and local.

Twain announced this week that she will hit the road next year in support of her upcoming album, Now, with a series of dates that bring her to the Wells Fargo Center on July 12. The tour will serve as Twain’s first since her “Rock This Country” tour — an outing that brought her to Philly on July 22, 2015.

Tickets for the Philadelphia date go on sale on Aug. 25 at 10 a.m. via the Wells Fargo Center. American Express cardholders get early access, and can start buying tickets Aug. 22 at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster.

Twain’s Now album is set for release on Sept. 29 via Mercury Nashville Records, and includes previously released singles “Life’s About to Get Good,” “Poor Me,” and “Swingin’ With My Eyes Closed.” Pre-orders of the album will include downloads of the singles.
