Kiwi pop songstress Lorde recently announced a world tour in support of her newly released sophomore record, Melodrama, and she will be stopping in Philadelphia in spring in 2018.
The "Royals" hitmaker will perform at the Wells Fargo Center on April 2, 2018. Tickets for the show go on sale Friday, June 23 at 10 a.m via the Wells Fargo Center website.
Lorde's Melodrama tour kicks off Sept. 26 in Manchester, England, and tours throughout Europe, Australia, and her homeland of New Zealand before hitting the US in March 2018. An opening act for the Philadelphia show has yet to be announced, according to Lorde's website.
Melodrama is out today via Republic Records, and includes singles such as "Green Light," "Perfect Places," and "Liability," among others. Review aggregator site Metacritic rates the album at 93 percent.
The new album and tour, however, aren't thing only projects Lorde has going for her recently. As she told Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show this week, the singer also secretly ran the notorious OnionRingsWorldwide Instagram account.
