CNN host Van Jones will be in Philadelphia this week for a stop on his newly announced "We Rise Tour," which will deal with criminal-justice reform.

The Messy Truth host has partnered with Fusion TV for the Philadelphia stop, which takes place Thursday at The Fillmore at 7 p.m. The event is open to the public, and tickets are available online for $20 to $40. Proceeds from the event will benefit charities that include Jones' Dream Corps organization.

According to a news release, the stop will be organized as a conversation that focuses on "commonalities as opposed to differences." Guests will include artists, performers, and criminal-justice reform leaders, all of whom will work to "increase dialogue and affect change" with the stop.

Philadelphia is one of 14 stops on the tour, which kicked off last week in Los Angeles. Guests at that stop, according to HuffPo, included actor Nick Cannon and producer Russell Simmons, as well as spoken-word poetry performances. Meek Mill will guest at the Philadelphia stop, according to a release.

"We Rise is all about bringing people together and enabling a civil, constructive dialogue where people can celebrate each other and work together to move forward," Fusion TV president Daniel Eilemberg says. "That message is extremely important to us."
