The healthy-ish fast-casual spot b. good is teaming with WMMR's Steve Morrison - of Preston and Steve fame - to raise money for feline friends. Through the end of the month, half the proceeds from the newly created Mac Attack Burger will go to the Mac Fund at the Cat Shack, created by Morrison and his wife, Clare, in honor of their late cat Mac.
The Mac Fund goes to spaying and neutering feral cat colonies to control overpopulation in strays. Think of Morrison as Philadelphia's own Bob Barker, who after every Price is Right episode reminded his viewers to spay and neuter their pets. Morrison's preferred medium is burgers.
So what's on this charitable sandwich?
The Philly Mac Attack is a turkey burger (see, we told you this place is healthy-ish) piled high with provolone, sautéed garlic spinach, roasted red peppers, caramelized onions, and red pepper vinaigrette.
