Betsey Johnson promoting kids' line at King of Prussia mall

THE ALWAYS spirited and forever young Betsey Johnson will be at Lord & Taylor in the King of Prussia Mall (160 N. Gulph Road, KOP) this Saturday to promote her first-ever line of kids' clothing, Betsey Johnson Kidswear.

Fashion fanatics can meet Johnson from 2 to 3 p.m., with celebrity blogger and TV personality Micah Jesse.

"I do personal appearances throughout the year with Micah. We go all over the country, and I love that personal connection with my fans. It is very important to me," Johnson said.

No surprise that her kidswear collection "includes a punch of punk along with my signature roses and girlie smooches. It's something I've been dying to do, especially since my grandkiddos were born!"

Tuesday was the last day for CBS3 investigative reporter Charlotte Huffman.

Sources say Huffman left on her own to accept an offer from another news organization. Reached by phone yesterday, she declined to comment on the switch but confirmed that she is leaving KYW.

Still, I'm told she left on "great" terms with her bosses at KYW and will be able to tell us soon where she's landed.

I had to give these guys some press just for their namesake.

Philly's Samantha Gongol and Jeremy Lloyd make up the electric jazz duo Marian Hill, in town tonight at Union Transfer (1026 Spring Garden St.), the fourth stop on their first nationwide tour.

The band's name is based on the two main characters from "The Music Man" - Harold Hill and Marian Paroo. (It's my absolute favorite musical of all time.)

The pair have been writing songs since they met at Haverford High School. They made their television debut on "The Late Show with James Corden" last month.

"The Philly music scene has been wonderful to us," Gongol said.

Added Lloyd, "XPN [88.5 FM] played us on the radio before anything else had happened for us. That's an amazing thing when a city can give you that."

Daily News columnist Jenice Armstrong will take part in a "No Bull$hit" seminar Saturday in Northern Liberties.

Flyers alum Danny Briere will make an appearance tonight at the Food Trust's final Night Market of the year, at Frankford and Girard avenues in Fishtown.

Briere, the Flyers street team and the Ice Girls will be there from 6 to 10 p.m. Fans can stop by the "Flyers Zone" for a free photo op with Briere and other Flyers freebies.
