When it comes to truth, Kylie's fake lips are sealed

Also in Tattle: Pastor uses hookers, Prince goes to Baltimore

SINCE EVERY scandal must have a "gate" at the end, can we call this one Lipgate?

It took long enough, and too many young people messed up their faces trying to get giant lips by sucking the air out of a shot glass, but People magazine now reports that the infamous mouth pillows of Kylie Jenner are the result of artificial enhancement.

So, chalk up another star who owes her career to LPEDs: Lip Performance Enhancing Drugs.

"I have temporary lip fillers. It's just an insecurity of mine, and it's what I wanted to do," Kylie says, in a clip from that icky faux-reality show "Keeping Up with the Kardashians." "I'm just not ready to talk to reporters about my lips yet, because everyone always picks us apart."

Yo, Kylie, you're 17, so you don't know any better, but the reason people pick your family apart is because you seek it out. Every move you all make is documented in multiple media and it's made you rich beyond the wildest dreams of people who pout with the lips they were born with. So, stop whining. You flat-out lied about your lips, claiming they got their look due to your ability with lip-liner. Your older sister may or may not be messing around with Justin Bieber. Your half brother is launching a TV show as a sexpert. Your famous half sister just published a book featuring only pictures of herself. Your father is transitioning to becoming a woman.

And he may be the most normal one in the family.

Or maybe it's Khloe Kardashian, who says in the episode: "Kylie decided to plump her lips, and I don't think there's anything wrong with that. I think if you've done something, though, it is right to cop up to it."

Or just cop to it. But "Keeping Up with the Kardashians' Syntax" probably wouldn't be as big a hit.

Hookers screwed again

Oh, reality TV. All you're missing is . . . reality.

According to the Washington Post, the reality series "8 Minutes" has been axed by A&E.

The show, which we admit to having never heard of, followed cop-turned-pastor Kevin Brown, who posed as a hotel john and then surprised his "date" with a camera crew, a victim's advocate and a speech about getting off one's back for a better life.

On Monday night, however, Buzzfeed ran a story in which a number of the streetwalkers featured said that they'd been led astray by the series - offering neither the help nor the privacy it promised.

"Gina" claimed she got $400 for appearing on the show but never heard from anyone again.

Another woman fared worse.

"This show, these people, it's a disaster in my life," "Kamylla" told Buzzfeed. She got only $200 (so Pastor Brown was not a much better payer than an actual john) and she was later arrested when she returned to hooking because the show never got her help or a job.

A&E had no comment on the allegations, but much like a john, the show was yanked.

Peace. Love. Miley.

Miley Cyrus has started a new nonprofit, the Happy Hippie Foundation, and she's launched it with some outdoor musical performances that hope to raise money for the cause.

And what is that cause? People mag says that it's to rally young people to fight the injustices faced by homeless youth, LGBT youth and other vulnerable populations.

For instance, in tribute to Leelah Alcorn, the transgender Ohio teen who committed suicide in December, Miley sings "No Freedom."

In a second "Backyard Sessions," Miley jams with Joan Jett on "Different," and another has been shot with Ariana Grande.

"I'm fighting for people I don't know," Miley told Out.com, "but it's also a fight for people I do know, and people I'm close to and love."

Prince: Gray, not purple

There may be a new princess in London, but there's going to be an old Prince in Baltimore.

The Washington Post says that Prince will stage a "Rally 4 Peace" in Baltimore on Sunday to honor Freddie Gray.

"In a spirit of healing, the event is meant to be a catalyst for pause and reflection following the outpouring of violence that has gripped Baltimore and areas throughout the U.S.," according to a LiveNation release. "As a symbolic message of our shared humanity and love for one another, attendees are invited to wear something gray in tribute to all those recently lost in the violence."

Prince also will debut a new single, "Baltimore."

"The song was written following the death of 25-year-old Freddie Gray and is a tribute to all of the people of Baltimore," the release said.

Prince has previously not had much interest in weighing in on hot-button issues. It's been reported that he is a Republican because he donated money to a Republican candidate in Minnesota . . . 25 years ago.

But he told Tavis Smiley, when asked about the election of Barack Obama, that he doesn't vote. When asked why he stayed away from the polls, Prince said, "The reason why is that I'm one of the Jehovah's Witnesses and we've never voted."

Ah, all the benefits of democracy but none of the tough decisions.
