Jon Hamm: What now?

Will the public still love Jon Hamm once Mad Men, which kicks off its final episodes April 5, is finally over?

Will we still respect him?

These questions are keeping the actor up at night. "The one constant thing I've had in my career is now removed," Hamm, 44, who has played Don Draper for seven seasons, tells GQ. "And that's an eye-opener."

Will Hamm cease to exist in a post-Don Draper world?

"Are people still going to take me seriously?" says Hamm. "Am I just going to do romantic comedies for the rest of my life? What's next? And I don't know, you know? I wish I was smug enough to have had a grand plan."

What has it been like playing Draper? It has been exhausting, dispiriting, says Hamm: "You're kind of hoping for redemption, and it's not forthcoming."

'Mad Men' monument in N.Y.

A monumental memorial to AMC's beloved Mad Men has been installed in front of the Time-Life Building in Manhattan, which houses the show's fictional Sterling Cooper ad agency. No, it's not a 100-foot-tall Claes Oldenburg- esque Lucky Strike cig or anything (though that'd be cool). It's a modest sidewalk bench decorated with a life-size cutout of the famous Mad Men silhouette. The installation was christened Monday by the derrieres of the show's stars - Jon Hamm, January Jones, Christina Hendricks, John Slattery, and Elisabeth Moss - and its creator, Matthew Weiner. There may be hope for that massive cig: Several other Mad-ish objects d'art will be unveiled in coming weeks.

No divergence at box office

Filmgoers acted as predicted this weekend: The Divergent Series: Insurgent, starring the lovely Shailene Woodley, was atop the box-office list, making $54 mil in its opening weekend.

Disney's Cinderella fell a rung to No. 2 with $35 mil. Run All Night was third with $5.1 mil.

Why we like Taylor Swift

Because she is smart, yo! CNNMoney says Swift just bought top-level domain names Taylorswift.porn and Taylorswift.adult! New domains like .porn and .adult come out June 1, but ICANN, which controls this stuff, has let some companies and celebs get ahead of the rush, to head off bad P.R. Farsighted, Ms. Swift!
