Miley Cyrus in hot water in Mexico after lowering flag

Also in Tattle: MTV to air doc for trans teens, Cher sued, Joan Rivers Day, models mean to Kendall Jenner

DEAR STUPID, young, just-being-yourselves pop stars,

Here's a tip.

We know it's impossible for you to control your coolness, outrageousness and sex drive, but everything in the world is not a prop in your stage show.

TMZ.com reports that Miley Cyrus, the type of concert star who might perform in Iraq and wonder what the fuss was when she twerked with a guy in a black ski mask, could go to jail for getting her prosthetic behind spanked on stage . . . with a Mexican flag.

In Monterrey, Mexico.

On Mexican Independence Day.

TMZ says that Mexican officials are super sensitivo about disrespecting national symbols, so some politicians want her prosecuted.

She could end up with a $1,200 fine and 36 hours in la carcel.

MTV, Logo team up for documentary

Laverne Cox ("Orange is the New Black") will host a documentary on MTV and Logo next month that profiles seven young transgender people.

The special, "Laverne Cox Presents: The T Word," will air simultaneously on the two channels on Oct. 17.

After the documentary, Logo and MTV's websites will air a forum in which Cox and the documentary's cast members answer questions from viewers about their lives. MTV personality SuChin Pak will help lead the "Trans Forum" discussion.

MTV said yesterday that the people profiled in the documentary range in age from 12 to 24.

Thanks for Cher-ing

Choreographer Kevin Wilson is suing Cher for racial discrimination and retaliation because he claims that when he was auditioning dancers for her "Dressed to Kill" tour, Cher wanted him to limit the number of black dancers.

According to the suit, obtained by TMZ.com, when Wilson, who is black, said he particularly liked "a minority female dancer," he says Cher responded, "We have too much color onstage."

Cher, he says, then told him to find a white, blonde dancer and to not "cast anymore dark-skinned black dancers on the tour."

Additionally, the suit says, after a Louisville show this past June, a male dancer allegedly got sexually aggressive with a female fan back at his hotel room. Cher is accused of covering up the incident, keeping the male dancer in question in her cast and canning the three people who blew the whistle on him. Wilson was one of those people.

"These are ridiculous allegations," a Cher rep old TMZ. "They couldn't be further from the truth."

TATTBITS

* Today's Joan Rivers Day on E! will culminate tonight at 8 with a new, 90-minute "Fashion Police: Celebrating Joan" with Giuliana Rancic, Kelly Osbourne, George Kotsiopoulos and Joan's daughter, Melissa.

Zachary Quinto got his big break on NBC's "Heroes," but he's ruling out any role in the "Heroes Reborn" miniseries due to air on the network next year.

Quinto, perhaps best known for his role as Spock in the 2009 J.J. Abrams' "Star Trek" reboot, says that timing is part of the problem, but that he also felt that it wasn't right for him creatively, because he's "really interested in cultivating other experiences" for himself.

"I'm not going to do it," he said.

Instead, he's turning his attention to mentoring two first-time filmmakers on the unscripted series "The Chair," Saturday nights at 11 on Starz.

* The great Don Pardo, who died last month at 96, and was the announcer at "Saturday Night Live" since its debut season in 1975, will be replaced by former "SNL" cast member Darrell Hammond when the show returns for a 40th season on Sept. 27.

Over the years, Hammond had occasionally subbed for Pardo - as Pardo - when he was unwell.

According to Lorne Michaels, Hammond will now announce the show as himself.

In Touch magazine says that Kendall Jenner was not the belle of the ball at New York Fashion Week.

She was more like the picked-on kid in the "Mean Girls" tall and thin sequel.

"The other models worked so hard to get a spot on the runway and didn't think it was fair that she was there," an unnamed source told In Touch.

"Some [of the models] put out their cigarettes in Kendall's drink!" the source explained. "They thought she was getting special treatment and just weren't OK with it."

In Touch claimed that such treatment of Kendall amounted to "bullying." Given the bullying we've seen just over the past week, we're not so sure.

And in fairness to the models, if you were walking around in six-inch heels and hadn't eaten all day, you might not be in the best mood either.
