IT FEELS LIKE this week started a year ago, what with the July Fourth holiday and all, but no, it began Monday with a lot of nonsense (we're looking at you, Mr. LaBeouf) and some good news for the Queen of Celebrities (we're looking another way, Miley Cyrus). Enjoy your Independence Day weekend with a side trip to Celebrityville.

Friday

Esquire "sexiest woman alive" Scarlett Johansson won a lawsuit against a French novelist, Gregoire Delacourt, whom the star claimed "fraudulently exploited her name, her image and her celebrity" in his book, the Guardian reported. A French judge awarded Johansson $3,400 for defamation, and an additional $520 in legal fees, but threw out her demand for damages, the paper said.

Thursday

The "Anthony" component of SiriusXM's "Opie and Anthony" show - Anthony Cumia - has been fired by the radio company for a rant of racist tweets after an alleged assault by an African-American woman, TheWrap.com reported.

"It's really open season on white people in this day and age," Cumia wrote. "No recourse. Fight back and you're a racist. The predators know this. Good luck."

Wednesday

Beyonce, the No. 1 Celebrity (more on that further down), changed the lyrics of her tune "Resentment" at a Cincinnati concert that raised some eyebrows about her marriage, TMZ.com reported. The new words reflected the amount of time she has been with hubby, Jay Z, and then she changed the line "Like I couldn't do it for you like your mistress could" to "Like I couldn't do it for you like that wack bitch could."

Tuesday

A green bench used by the star-crossed teens in that mega-hit flick "The Fault in Our Stars" is missing, Amsterdam officials revealed.

The lovable actor, Shia LaBeouf, has reportedly checked into a private rehab facility in L.A., days after making a ruckus at a Broadway production of "Cabaret." He was charged with disorderly conduct, criminal trespass and harassment.

Monday

Forbes magazine has released its yearly Celebrity 100 and, stunner, Beyonce tops the list, which is based on a combo of money, fame and impact. You couldn't miss Queen Bey - iTunes, magazines covers, you name it. Girl also earned $115 million between June 2013 and June this year.

Her honey, Jay Z, placed sixth, earning $60 million. Two through five on the list: LeBron James ($72 million), Dr. Dre ($620 million), Oprah ($82 million) and Ellen DeGeneres ($70 million).

Robert Downey Jr., who also made the top 10 in the Forbes list, thanked authorities for arresting his son Indio, 20, on suspicion of cocaine possession.

"Unfortunately, there's a genetic component to addiction and Indio has likely inherited it," Downey Jr. said in a statement. "We're grateful to the Sheriff's Department for their intervention," said the "Iron Man" star, who has had run-ins with the law over the years because of a stubborn drug addiction.

On their own

Formerly troubled star Amanda Bynes wants to pursue a degree from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising and is preparing to leave her parents' home, In Touch magazine reported exclusively.

Lourdes Leon, Madonna's stylish daughter, is headed to the University of Michigan, her mom's almost alma mater. Madge dropped out and left her dance scholarship behind after two years to head to New York City.
