Seinfeld, David to team again?

JERRY SEINFELD and Larry David are reportedly teaming up on a new project, but try to curb your enthusiasm. They won't say what it is.

The Los Angeles Times reports that Seinfeld mentioned the project in a Reddit "Ask Me Anything" Q&A to plug his Web series "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee."

Asked about the most mundane thing David and Seinfeld ever obsessed over, Jerry replied: "We never obsess over anything that isn't mundane. Most recent was intentional mumbling. We wrote this script for this thing that you will eventually see but I can't reveal what it is at this time. All I can do is tell you that it's big, huge, gigantic. Even bigger than that Amazon package."

Could this be a tease about nothing?

Boo Boo got a real boo-boo.

TMZ.com reports that Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson and her family were in a bad car crash Monday night in their hometown of McIntyre, Ga.

Honey, Mama June, Pumpkin and Jessica were all passengers in their 6-month-old Suburban. Sugar Bear was behind the wheel.

Sources say the SUV got rammed while Sugar Bear was trying to make a turn and another driver ran a red light.

The Thompsons were taken by ambulance to a local hospital with a variety of injuries, aches and bruises.

The alleged assault took place in September 2012, but MTV.com reports that Young Jeezy (a/k/a Jay Wayne Jenkins) is now facing serious charges for the incident.

The rapper was arrested and released on $45,000 bond last Friday, according to TMZ.com. He's charged with battery, false imprisonment and making "terroristic threats."

Father and son got in a fight that led to a busted bathroom shower door, a gash on son's head and a beat down in a bedroom.

While dad was allegedly assaulting him, son (can we call him Even Younger Jeezy?) tried to escape, but a bodyguard (presumably not his) wouldn't let him.

As father allegedly choked son, he said: "I will kill you. If I could get away with it, I would kill you."

"We have no doubt this matter will resolve itself appropriately," Jeezy's lawyer said in a statement to TMZ. "At this moment, Mr. Jenkins is thankful for the support of his fans and the respect for his family's privacy."

* Macklemore has been named The Source's Man of the Year.

The Seattle rapper was among the most-played artists of 2013, partnering with producer Ryan Lewis (who wasn't even named Low-key Man of the Year) on hits such as "Thrift Shop," "Can't Hold Us" and "Same Love" and earning seven Grammy nominations.

Macklemore discusses his hip-hop credentials, the Grammys, the role of race in his pop success and worrying over Kanye's opinion in an interview with the magazine out yesterday.

Even though he's also nominated for best rap album at the Grammy Awards, Macklemore says Kendrick Lamar should win: "I think it should go to Kendrick. He's family."

Previous Man of the Year winners include Rick Ross and 2 Chainz.

* Eva Longoria, meanwhile, has been named Maxim's Woman of the Year.

And not for 2005, either.

* Whoopi Goldberg, thanks to her "Star Trek: Next Generation" comic-con cred, will make her first appearance at Wizard World Philadelphia on June 20 and 21 at the Convention Center.

The con will run from June 19 to 22.

* Steve McQueen has gained his first Directors Guild of America nomination for his grimly historic saga "12 Years a Slave," substantiating the British director's place as a top contender at the Academy Awards.

Other first-time DGA nominees announced yesterday were Alfonso Cuaron for his lost-in-space odyssey "Gravity" and Paul Greengrass for his Somali pirate thriller "Captain Phillips."

Past nominee David O. Russell also received a bid, for his con-artist tale "American Hustle."

Earning his 11th nomination, Martin Scorsese gained a nod for his high-finance extravaganza, "The Wolf of Wall Street."

Winners will be announced Jan. 25 in Los Angeles.

If McQueen wins, he would be the first black director to earn the guild's feature-film accolade. Hey, they've only been giving out the award for 65 years.

* Marc Malkin of E! News reports that after 42 years as a couple, Lily Tomlin, 74, married her partner, Jane Wagner, on New Year's Eve in a private ceremony in LA.

"They're very happy," Lily's rep said.

Longtime gossip queen Liz Smith first broke the nuptial news in the Chicago Tribune.

Tomlin made the marriage official by giving Wagner one ringy-dingy.
