Tattle: Allen and Tawanna Iverson agree to $3 million divorce settlement

ANYONE WHO was asking what it would take for former 76er Allen Iverson to get out of his marriage with his ex-wife, Tawanna, now has the Answer.

By the short hairs.

TMZ.com reports that Allen will be able to finalize his divorce with Tawanna for a $3 million buyout, which is substantially more than the buyouts this company is offering.

The good news for Allen is that although Tawanna gets his money and pledges of future money, he gets to keep his Maybach automobile and their Georgia mansion, at least until the bank takes it.

Allen and Tawanna married in 2001 and have been in a bitter divorce battle for the past year.

If he'd been asked how much this divorce had cost him in legal fees, Allen might have replied: "You askin' me about my lawyer's practice? I don't care about his practice!"

Broadcasting legend Barbara Walters did not like the view Saturday night when she face-planted after falling at an inauguration party at the Washington, D.C., home of Britain's ambassador to the United States, Peter Westmacott.

Walters, 83, was hospitalized after the fall because of a cut on her forehead, but was soon back to bossing everyone around.

* Walters competitor Katie Couric has landed the first on-camera interview with Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te'o, since news broke about a hoax involving a dead girlfriend he'd never met.

Te'o and his parents will appear on Couric's syndicated talk show Thursday.

Just wait until he finds out Couric is a real woman.

According to E!, Nadya took home the prize for the Best Celebrity Sex Tape at Saturday night's AVN Awards.

(The AVNs are the Oscars - or perhaps the Golden Fake Globes - of porn.)

"Seriously, it has not sunk in yet," Nadya said seriously. "This is fantastic, what an honor. Hopefully this will open the doors to more opportunities. * Los Angeles County sheriff's officials are looking for the person who called 9-1-1 and falsely reported an emergency at the Malibu home of the Kardashians.

Always-busy sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore says it's too soon to tell whether the reality-TV stars are the latest victims of "swatting," a hoax intended to get officers, including specialized SWAT teams, sent to a home.

Deputies who responded to the call Friday found that no crime had been committed.

Kim Kardashian tweeted that such a hoax was "dangerous" and "not a joke."

Police last week responded to a false report of an armed robbery at actor Tom Cruise's Beverly Hills, Calif., home. Last December, a boy was arrested after police said he made calls that reported violence at the homes of singer Justin Bieber and actor Ashton Kutcher.

* Actress-turned-activist Eva Longoria said on ABC's "This Week with George Stephanopoulos" that Republicans have a moral, political and economic duty to compromise on immigration.

Unfortunately, most Republicans believe Eva is the maid who had sex with Arnold Schwarzenegger.

* Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice has joined CBS News as a contributor.

CBS News chairman Jeff Fager and president David Rhodes say Rice "will use her insight and vast experience to explore issues facing America at home and abroad."

* Justin Bieber's mother, Pattie Mallette, is an executive producer on "Crescendo," an upcoming anti-abortion short film.

The makers of "Crescendo" hope to raise $10 million for pregnancy centers at screenings worldwide starting Feb. 28. Mallette herself will appear at some of these, said production company Movie to Movement.

The Biebs' mom has written and spoken extensively about the addiction and abuse that led to her teenage pregnancy. She said in a statement that she hopes her involvement with "Crescendo" will "encourage young women all over the world, just like me, to let them know that there is a place to go, people who will take care of you and a safe home to live in if you are pregnant and think you have nowhere else to turn."

* A Brazilian judge has ordered the erotic trilogy Fifty Shades of Grey taken off the shelves of bookstores in the city of Macae, or at least wrapped to prevent minors from opening them.

A statement by the Rio de Janeiro State Judiciary Department says Judge Raphael Queiroz Campos issued the order after he saw children in one of city's bookstores looking through erotic books.
