OUT AND ABOUT * Not sure why they were here, but country star Shania Twain and her husband, Frederic Thiebaud, were seen walking along Rittenhouse Square Monday. Longtime Chicago Mayor Richard Daley joined Mayor Nutter and Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey, (a Chicago native) in the mayor's suite at the Linc Monday night for the Eagles/Bears game. Daley was in town for a chamber of commerce luncheon at which Nutter introduced him, then had a meeting at City Hall and also spoke with Ed Rendell's class at Penn. * The Bears ordered 70 cheese- steaks and 40 chicken cheesesteaks from Talk of the Town (3020 S. Broad) after Monday's game. Former Eagles tight end Chad Lewis had a turkey hoagie there earlier that day.

Missing guest

WHYY "Radio Times" host

Marty Moss-Coane

suffered an on-air "nightmare" yesterday morning. After discussing the death of boxing great Smokin'

Joe Frazier

, Moss-Coane introduced her next guest,

Ellen Schultz

, who was there to talk about her new book,

Retirement Heist: How Companies Plunder and Profit from the Nest Eggs of American Workers.

Problem was, Schultz, who was supposed to be on the line via the New York NPR studio, wasn't on the phone. Moss-Coane gracefully handled the missing guest, but admitted that the dead-air situation is her worst nightmare. Eventually Schultz was found and Moss-Coane sassed her a bit, saying that she had introduced her "six or seven minutes ago." Once they got going, the interview was just fine, says a longtime listener.
