More than 300 young professionals attended the Young Friends of the Philadelphia Museum of Art and United Way Project NEXT event Jan. 27 on the Art Museum's Great Stair Hall balcony. Hosted by the Young Friends, the gathering brought together local groups dedicated to art, philanthropy, culture, and service to display and exchange ideas. Among the organizations represented were Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, the Barnes Foundation, the Alzheimer's Association Junior Committee, the Center for Grieving Children, the Center for Literacy, Emerging Practitioners in Philanthropy, Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, People's Emergency Center, Project HOME, and Young Friends of the Historical Society of Pennsylvania.
