On Friday, thousands of fans held their breath in the Wells Fargo Center at Power 99's Powerhouse concert.

Migos rapper, Offset, got down on one knee and proposed to rap queen Cardi B.

The applause was deafening. She jumped, squealed and accepted.

This comes two months after rumors of their engagement and a week after what looked like a  public breakup. The proposal was in the middle of Cardi B's verse on the new collaborative track "Motor Sport," also  featuring Migos and Nicki Minaj.

There was minimal time to recover; the Bronx native's set was right after.

"I can't even breathe," she told the crowd. "I am too emotional today but we still gonna keep it gangsta."

She then led into the track "Foreva" from her Gangsta Bitch Vol. 1 mixtape. The Bronx native recently became the first female rapper to top the Billboard Top 100 since Lauryn Hill with her hit song "Bodak Yellow." Soon after, she went certified platinum and won a BET Hip Hop award for "Single of the Year".

"This year has been a good year for me," Cardi B told the audience.

Philly rappers  Meek Mill and Lil Uzi Vert brought their hometown fervor to the stage.

But Cardi B, the self-proclaimed "regular degular shmegular girl from the Bronx," stole the show and arguably the year.
