A high school football coach in Alabama has been suspended for 10 days without pay for comments he made about First Lady Michelle Obama and calling gays "an abomination." During a psychology class at Lauderdale County High School, Bob Grisham called the First Lady of the United States "fat butt Michell Obama." He suggested that she weigheds between 185-190 pounds and that she's overweight. Then, Grisham went on a tangent about the direction America is heading. He called gays "an abomination against God."

You can go tell the principal, you can call the superintendent and tell her. I don't believe in queers, I don't like queers. I don't … I don't hate them as a person but what they do is wrong, it's an abomination against God. I don't like being around queers.

Amid calls for Grisham's termination, the school board instead elected to suspend the coach and prohibit him from teaching psychology. [CBS Atlanta]

One more thing, isn't it amazing what Alabama did here? Philly SD could take a lesson here as they could even discipline a teacher that verbally accosting and attacked a young girl for wearing a Romney shirt...

Funny Philly SD, Dax and Masterbaiter could learn a lesson in equality and civility from Alabama, lol!

Kind of similar to the teacher in Philly who chided a student for wearing a Romney t-shirt. I guess that is the quality of education in the city of Philadelphia. (I doubt many can debate the last statement.)
