Happy birthday, David Bowie. Today, the infamous singer turns 66. He's celebrating by returning from space to release a new single and announce his first album in 10 years. Before we continue, check out the new track.

The new Bowie album, titled The Next Day, is due out in the U.S. on March 12th. The deluxe edition will include 17 tracks and runs more than an hour long. It's available for preorder in the iTunes store. More information is available on the singer's new website. Get excited.

    Really, what exactly is 'infamous' about Bowie? Must be a tour coming along as well. Didn't think he would any longer.

    I got the single and really like it. It's a bit melancholy. I'm really looking forward to hearing what the entire album will be like. I wasn't crazy about Reality. A tour would be nice.

    Bowie was considered infamous - in the early '70's after well-publicized sexual liaisons with a host of different men and women. He shed that persona in the mid to late 70's and by the 1980's was considered rock royalty. Just sayin'.......
