Get your "awwww" face ready because Bradley Cooper is bringing his mom to the Oscars. Cooper, who is up for Best Actor for his role in David O. Russell's The Silver Linings Playbook, recently split (again) with his girlfriend and The Words co-star, Zoe Saldana
The Jenkintown product moved in with his parents when his father became ill and continued to live with his mother, Gloria, after his father passed away. Cooper says that early on in his career, he told his mother that she'd be his plus-one if he was ever nominated for an Academy Award.
"One night, when I started the profession, [mom said] 'If you ever [get nominated] I am the date,'" he said at the Critic’s Choice Awards on Thursday. [NY Daily News]
