Alex Jones loses it on Piers Morgan: '1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms'

Controversial talk show host and noted conspiracy theorist Alex Jones got a little, er, animated during his interview(?) with Piers Morgan. Jones is one of the firearm advocates behind the White House petition to have Morgan deported for attacking the second amendment. Regardless of your stance on gun control, it's worth a watch, if only to see Jones freak out and challenge Morgan to a fight before sarcastically answering a question with, "How many chimpanzees can dance on the head of a pin?" He also offers up gems like:
"1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms."
"The number one cause of death is suicide, now, because they give people suicide mass murder pills!"
"[Britain's] got hordes of people burning cities and beating old women's brains out every day."
"America was born on guns and whiskey."
"How many great white sharks eat people? But, they're still afraid to swim."
UPDATE: Alex Jones has posted his personal account of what happened behind the scenes at CNN. He says he made one of the producers cry and was told to leave even though he'd been promised a third segment. He says that undercover cops were following him and that a "big, mean Bloomberg" detective got in his face. According to Jones, the undercover cops looked like they were from Goodfellas.
What a jerk Jones is. Right wing fanatic wacko. PHIL-A-DEL
Comment removed.- So, given 4 million guns owners (conservative number, NRA membership estimate), there are 1 million non-trained CCW's out there. That does not make me feel safe, even if Sheriff Taz is around to protect me. Thanks for your concern and protection, I didn't ask for it though.

"Instead, he immediately went full-tilt crazy. Because he is. Because they are."
@TheLowDown: I'm sure Alex Jones doesn't speak for every gun owner. Also, I don't think every person who supports the 2nd Amendment is "full-tilt crazy". LouDiamondPhillipsheadScrewdriver- Lou, I was talking about the signatories to the petition. They are crazy. To them, the Second Amendment trumps the First Amendment, and that is way dangerous.
TheLowDown - My apologies. I thought you meant all gun owners.

Comment removed.- You fail to include appeals, which are the lion's share of the cost in death penalty cases. You can't ignore that because it's convenient to your argument. You need tolook up the facts on the real costs. Do you think the food and health care prisoners get is top shelf or something?
If you include appeals the cost is greater in death penaly cases, you can't refute it. TheLowDown
Alex Jones should play on the D-Line for the Eagles. Tyrone Biggums
Comment removed.- I do not wear my beliefs on my sleeve, or even in a holster, concealed. I just think that people who think that they are sheriffs, civilian patrol types, are really trying to compensate for something else.
I respect opinions, but when one's opinion is that they can let the lead fly at anytime they feel threatened (ala Stand Your Ground), then that, to me, is a breakdown of civilization. More guns do not equal a better society. TheLowDown
LowDown- The whole point of Piers putting that nutbag on the show was to make seem like everyone who is pro-gun behaves like Jones and believes in all his nonsense. GroJLart- I think that is projection on your part. I am anti-gun, but I do not associate Jones with the gun lobby at all. He is a crackpot. If people do not want to be educated about people like Jones, that is their choice.
Morgan brought him on because of the petition. But Jones brought this on himself, and I don't see pro-gun people distancing themselves from a fringe lunatic. TheLowDown
So America is more violent then.....England, right Morgan?
