Philadelphia's annual Christmas Village has taken over LOVE Park with more than 80 vendors selling glass ornaments, blanket scarves, wheels of cheese, windup toys, and bottles of wine in the heart of the city. Here are the booths you simply can't miss on your holiday shopping trip.

Edible Birdhouses

Richard Denchfield, who makes birdhouses in Maryland by hand, came up with the idea of gluing birdseed to birdhouses after his family birdhouse failed to attract birds. Today, his edible birdhouses are made from wood and nontoxic glue before being coated with layers of seeds — a perfect present for nature lovers.

Down to Earth Bodyshop

Pamper your loved ones with artisanal soaps, decadent sugar scrubs, and body butters made from shea and cocoa butter. Based in New Jersey, Down to Earth Bodyshop has been making skincare and body products for 20 years — and every item is still handmade.

The Truffleist

A first-timer at the Christmas Village, The Truffleist was established in 2013 by Jimmy Kunz after he made truffle butter as a holiday gift for friends and family. The booth is selling truffle salt, truffle honey, truffle mustard, and truffle oil. The Truffleist also offers recipe ideas on its website, truffleist.com.

Just Make Scents

These herbal packs might be worth checking out for your friends and family members who are always complaining about the winter weather. You can pop them in the microwave before bed for a little extra warmth, and each one is scented with a fragrant blend of herbs.

Friction Jewelry

Friction Jewelry sells real leaf jewelry, which it makes by pressing leaves and sandblasting them to get a filigree look. The jewelers then plate the leaf with gold or silver, turning them into delicate necklaces with a unique flair.

Independent Makers of Philadelphia

A new vendor at the Made in Philadelphia market this year, IMOP Philly is selling a selection of pottery, jewelry, and artwork from five artists based in the city. Definitely check out the aeriums by StitchPrism, which feature air plants perfect for an office desk.

Man Cave Basics Plus

Based in Huntingdon Valley, Man Cave Basics Plus turns patented designs into wall art. They have designs of beloved Star Wars characters, fighter jets, and sports equipment.

TorchBearer Sauces

TorchBearer Sauces is back at the Christmas Village with a wide selection of BBQ sauces, ranging from very mild to knock-your-socks-off hot. You can mix and match bottles, or even pick up a sampler of all their sauces.
