VIDEO: The Seth Meyers era of ‘Late Night’ has arrived in NBC's new promo video

You know what they say: new year, new late night lineup. And, by the looks of it, NBC is ready to dive into their new schedule—Seth Meyers and all.

The network released its first look at the Seth Meyers-fronted Late Show over the weekend in the form of a short clip featuring Meyers touring viewers around the Late Show offices as he makes his way over from the SNL set. It’s only a 30-second spot, but that’s enough to get a taste of what we should expect to see.

I mean, you don’t hear Kenan Thompson calling dibs on someone’s dressing room every day:

As you can see, Meyer’s Late Night set isn’t quite ready yet, as evidenced by the ongoing construction illustrated in the above video. Still, though, we do get a glimpse of the new Late Night logo, redesigned in blue neon for Meyers’ arrival.  If nothing else, the promo does show us that the Meyers’ era is dawning. Just try and get Jimmy Fallon back from his Tonight Show gig.

No worries about the construction, though—crews have just over a month to get everything up and running. Meyers is scheduled to take over Late Show duties on February 24.
