Krystle Campbell, fiancee of Phillies first baseman Ryan Howard, will be seen on TLC’s “Say Yes To the Dress” at 9 p.m. Friday. The show features Campbell and family or friends at New York's Kleinfeld Bridal in search of the perfect gown.

The couple are to wed Dec. 1 according to their online registry at Macy’s. (Most expensive item: A pair of Swarovski crystal toasting flutes. They seek three pairs at $390 per pair. Cheapest: 13-inch washcloths for $17. The couple are hoping to receive 6)

Howard announced in April 2011 that he and Campbell, a schoolteacher and former Eagles cheerleader, were engaged.

Isn't this the Krystle Campbell who was involved with a few other athletes in this town?? Must be True Love this time.

She should give a class on "how to attract and marry millionaire athletes". Krystle would make more money teaching that class than two-time Olympic medalist Carli Loyd will with her upcoming soccer camps.

But I guess, dating millionaire athletes you don't need to give a class

I uh...I went with the washcloths. Now, HEAR ME OUT BEFORE YOU JUDGE ME. It's not the price differential, per se. Rather, I just think the washcloths are more practical. They can think of me every time they dry their face or do whatever it is you do with washcloths sometimes. By contrast, "krystle toasting flutes"? (<---see what I did there?) Maybe they'll use them once or twice, but they'll probably remain in a china cabinet until they break. Might even end up, wrapped, in the basement. I'm thinking here, people.

I have know Krystle Campbell for many years, and not only is she one of the nicest people I have ever known but she is also tough as nails. Krystle was the lacrosse goalie for her high school, I was her coach. We made it to the semi finals in the state of PA that year, a lot of that had to do with Krystle's mental and physical toughness. Off the field she was a very good student and universally well liked. She did not get involved in any of the typical high school nonsense and those who wrote disparaging comments either don't know her or are simply jealous. Mr. Howard is very lucky to have married a truly genuine, caring, kind and loving person. She is not a gold digger or damaged goods in anyway and shame on those who have nothing better to do than to make up stories about a wonderful young woman.
