Since the official Crown statement regarding the Duchess of Cambridge's water breaking early Monday morning, the Internet has been a-buzz anticipating the arrival of the future heir to the British throne. Her Royal Highness is checked in to the exclusive Lindo Wing in St. Mary's Hospital in Paddington, London. The pregnant Duchess and Prince William left their Kensington Palace home early Monday morning.

Swarms of Britons - including fervently working paparazzi - have been anxiously waiting outside St. Mary's for a few days. On Monday a slew of Britons began to gather outside Buckingham Palace to await the official birth declaration  from Her Royal Highness Queen Elizabeth II herself.

London is colored with the Union Jack's red, white and blue for a festive and patriotic celebration of the child's imminent birth.

Fans have gotten creative in their dress-ups as they await the baby's welcome into the world. Most notably, a pair of Will and Kate impersonators posed outside of St. Mary's Hospital on Friday, with "Fake Kate" even sporting a hefty baby bump for some laughs.

As time continues to pass, Britons are also placing their bets on the baby's gender and name, which is resulting in some pretty interesting predictions.
