So how did Leonardo DiCaprio learn to saw open a human skull with 1850's medical equipment for a scene in "Django Unchained?"

By watching this video, by Mutter Museum (19 S. 22nd) curator Anna Dhody.

The museum says Dhody received a request from the propmaster on the Quentin Tarantino film for instructions on how to properly saw a skull and decided it best to show, rather than tell.

And speaking of skulls, also included here is the Misfits classic song "Skulls."
