UPDATE: TMZ now says Jackson has died. So does the Los Angeles Times, which reports:
Pop star Michael Jackson was pronounced dead by doctors this afternoon after arriving at a hospital in a deep coma, city and law enforcement sources told The Times.
TMZ and E! Online reported earlier this afternoon that Michael Jackson suffered cardiac arrest in his Los Angeles home today.
According to the stories, paramedics administered CPR in the ambulance on the way to the UCLA Medical Center.
Jackson's immediate condition is unknown, but his father told TMZ that "he is not doing well."
The Times reported that according to a spokesman for the L.A. fire department, paramedics responded to a call at Jackson's home at approximately 12:26 p.m. local time, and Jackson was not breathing when they arrived.
