The deadline for the Daily News’ sixth annual Sexy Singles contest has been extended! You now have until June 5 to apply to be included in our roundup of the most fascinating singles in the Philadelphia area. Being a Sexy Single is a easy way to expand your social network, get the VIP treatment at a glamorous photo shoot and even connect with someone special. Hey, it has happened before. To be eligible, the only requirement is that you be legally unmarried and, of course, sexy. People of all backgrounds, body types, and sexual orientations are encouraged to apply.
Mail non-returnable photos to Sexy Singles, c/o the Phila. Daily News, P.O. Box 7788, Phila., PA 19101. Include your name, age, job, contact information and a line or two about what makes you sexy. We’re also now accepting photos emailed to armstrj@phillynews.com. No phone calls, please.
You can either nominate yourself or else have a friend do it for you. All of those selected must be available to participate in a photo shoot at a to be determined date and agree to allow to have their photos published in the Daily News and on Philly.com. Judging for the contest is scheduled for June 6.
*We’ll be at North by Northwest, 7165 Germantown Ave., from 6 until 9 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, talking to people interested in being a Sexy Single. Everyone who fills out an application gets a free pass to next week’s local premiere of the “Sex and the City” movie. (Note: Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.) At the event, you’ll be able to sample Vitamin Water, one of the movie’s sponsors and try “Sex and the City”-themed drink specials. Sexy Singles from last summer have been invited to come talk about their experiences and also mix and mingle. Bring your own photo or else have one taken of you at the club.
