At midnight on Sunday, April 13, Alexander Wang announced a designer collaboration with H&M. This announcement comes as the latest of many H&M designer collabs that began with Karl Lagerfeld in 2004 and have included Isabel Marant and Versace.

The designer confirmed the collab with two artistic videos posted to the retailer’s Instagram account. One video flashed the words WANG X H&M and the numbers ‘11’ ’06,’ the date on which the designer duds will be available in 250 H&M stores.

“It’s been hard keeping it hush-hush and confidential,” said Wang. “Now I can finally work on it openly.”

Wang is the first American designer to collaborate with H&M and will be designing collections for men and women.
