NBC 10's Aditi Roy appears speechless, but is taking her news voice to the Left Coast.
NBC10’s Aditi Roy is leaving Philly for the West Coast.
We hear Roy has a new job already lined up, I've got a call into the former morning anchor to see where she'll be heading. According to PhillyChitChat's HughEDillon, Roy cites her engagement as the reason for moving away. She plans to wed in May.
Roy has already had a prolific career, working for NBC News for a summer and popping up on the “Today” show. Most recently, Roy was a morning anchor.
Her last day will be sometime next week. Good luck, Aditi!

- May not be her best picture, but I am sure there are many, me included, that wish they looked that good on a candid photo. Some of these newscasters and others with their racoon eyes, eyelashes that are about two inches too long, not a hair out of place and makeup that looks like it would crack if they laughed too hard, plus teeth that could pass for dentures, Aditi seems a refreshing change. - I remember when she was a weekday morning anchor with Terry Ruggles then went to the left coast for some assignment for a couple of months. When she came back, they never quite fit her back in, so I figured it was only a matter of time before she landed somewhere more permanent. Good luck, Aditi. - With NBC10 reducing staff for $$$ reasons, you can't blame her for leaving. NBC10 has become really cheap & is hiring nubies for minimal $$$'s. She is originally from the west coast. Since she has been sporting a rock on her left hand, maybe her fiancée is a west coast person???

- I had the priviledge to meet her on one of her assignments early in her career. It was a crime scene type story that some big-wig city politicians had set up a press conference for. I was impressed by Aditi's down to earth personality. She was professional yet friendly. I knew that she was just starting out in the news business and was curious to see where her career would lead. I am glad that she appears to be advancing in her field. I hope all turns out well for her. She is a classy lady.— philaresident
