Morris Arboretum hosted its annual fund-raising gala, Moonlight & Roses, on June 5 at the arboretum. More than 440 guests enjoyed sipping cocktails and tasting hors d'oeuvres in the Rose Garden at the 92-acre horticulture display garden and arboretum, which is on the National Register of Historic Places. Guests proceeded to the chandelier-lit tent for dinner by Brûlée Catering and dancing to the Janis Nowlan Band. The Haverford Trust Co. was presenting sponsor, and this year's honorees were Moses "Moe" and Susan Feldman, avid and committed volunteers. Supporters rose to the occasion, donating $260,000, which will be used to support the historic preservation and restoration of the arboretum's architectural features, continuing maintenance, and education programs offered to the community.
